My toddler deleted Netflix off of our iPad mini and we can restore the app as the current version of Netflix is not compatible with the iOS on the mini. My searches are basically telling me no. Shame because the older version was working perfectly just fine. In short, for now I hope, older iDevices won't work with Netflix anymore. You are doing something wrong. Tap OK and the older version of Netflix should download to your iDevice. Look for the recent version of Netflix in the iOS App Store. I fear you maybe right. I did a test, myself. I have a spare, old iPad that I setup as new under my Apple ID. It is running iOS 5. That would be a real bummer for older iPad users, download old version of netflix for ipad 2, now. Luckily, I have the really old Netflix app for iOS 5.
And I already have an iOS 9 compatible version on my iPad 2. That is amazing. I am hoping that this may be just some sort of temporary issue. Not good!
